Attend Student-Alumni Networking Events
As a professional and alumnus, you have a wealth of information and wisdom to share with students, and the ability to encourage them by your own example. We invite you to consider coming to one of our student-alumni networking events to help current Princeton students explore possible career paths.
Throughout the year, Career Services sponsors on- and off-campus student-alumni networking receptions.
This is a hybrid event bringing together students, alumni and employers for networking, recruiting and industry education. The format for this new event is less formal than a traditional career fair and will include industry-specific chat areas and "hubs" with small bistro tables assigned to each organization, as opposed to large booths. Employers from specific industries in which Princeton students have expressed interest in will receive invitations. The following industries/fields will be represented: nonprofit, arts, entertainment, communications, marketing, advertising, publishing, manufacturing, business and start-up.
- Date: Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the outdoor courtyard behind the Office of Career Services at 36 University Place
The STEM Meetup is a career education event bringing together undergraduate and graduate students from all STEM majors with alumni and professionals from various industries. This event has been created in response to students’ desire to explore broad career possibilities and learn about different organizations and industries. Alumni and other professionals interested in connecting with Princeton STEM students will also gain insights on what students are studying and their career aspirations through one-on-one and small group conversations.
- Date: Thursday, October 8, 5-7:30 p.m.
