Amy Pszczolkowski named president-elect of Graduate Career Consortium

Amy Pszczolkowski, associate director of graduate student career services has been named the president-elect of the Graduate Career Consortium (GCC). When her term begins on Aug. 1, Pszczolkowski will assist in setting policy and direction for the future of the organization, collaborate with the president and other board members on new initiatives, advocate on behalf of the organization and members and serve on the national conference planning committee as the liaison to the board. Pszczolkowski will accede to the role of president on Aug. 1, 2016.  

"I’m delighted to continue serving the GCC in this new role," said Pszczolkowski, who has been an active member for seven years. "The GCC is a wonderful organization of dedicated professionals who are continually innovating and looking to improve the career outcomes of the graduate students and postdocs they serve."

The GCC is an association comprised of higher education professionals working at research universities, medical centers, and research-oriented government and nonprofit organizations providing professional and career development for doctoral candidates and postdoctoral scholars. The GCC provides national leadership and serves as a national voice for graduate-level career and professional development.
