Princeton Career Services spotlight in NACE Journal
We've come a long way from our humble origins as the Self-Help Bureau founded in 1912.
In May of 2016, we were proud to host the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Face2Face at Princeton, an event that brought together career center and campus relations/recruiting professionals to share best practices and ideas. We delivered presentations about the reinvention of Career Services at Princeton and our mission to help our students define a unique career and life vision, and then connect them in multidimensional, personalized ways to the resources, people, organizations and opportunities that will enable them to make their visions a reality. Subsequently, the editors of NACE Journal invited us to write an article about what is happening at Princeton Career Services.
If you're interested in learning more about our philosophy, initiatives and how we believe—and as our own University President Christopher Eisgruber has expressed—finding personally satisfying work contributes to a meaningful life, you can read the NACE Journal article here.
Fellow career center and campus relations/recruiting professionals are also invited to attend the session, "Reimagining Career Services at Princeton on Themes of Purpose and Meaningful Work," by Executive Director Pulin Sanghvi and Director Eva Kubu at the NACE Conference & Expo in Las Vegas on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
