Annual Report 2015-16

Each year the Office of Career Services conducts surveys to gather information about the post-graduation and summer experiences of our undergraduate students. 

Our annual report summarizes the post-graduation plans of the senior class, including year-long fellowships and internships, graduate and professional schools, and full-time employment. Industry and geographic breakdowns are provided along with salary averages for those who have accepted employment. 

Undersecretary Patrick Murphy, Undersecretary of the Army

Under Secretary Murphy was appointed as the 32nd  Under Secretary of the Army and Chief Management Officer (CMO) by President Obama. Prior to career in the Army, Mr. Murphy was a television anchor and contributor to NBC Universal and executive producer for MSNBC’s “Taking the Hill,” a national security policy show which specialized in breaking down the civil- military divide that’s occurred with an all-volunteer force.

Chris Lu '88, Deputy Secretary of Labor and Former Assistant to the President

Mr. Lu is the Deputy Secretary of Labor. He also served as Assistant to the President and Cabinet Secretary for Obama, as well as the co-chair of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Lu graduated from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and from Harvard Law School, where he was a classmate of Obama's.
