MBA Admissions Interview
Every school sets its own policies regarding interviews. Some business schools extend interview invitations to candidates; others may not. If you are offered the opportunity for an interview, it could be a sign that they are interested in you as an applicant, but hope to learn a bit more.
What to Expect
The focus of the interview will be your work experience and the benefit of an MBA to your career goals. Before the interview, be sure to research the specific ways that their MBA program suits your goals. You can also highlight your accomplishments, skills, strengths and personal qualities that make you a strong candidate.
While interviews assist programs in assessing your application, they are also a great way to obtain additional information that will help you make a decision about whether or not this program is a good fit for you. Use this opportunity to your advantage.
