Dr. Paul A. Hanle 69 joined Climate Central as President and CEO in April 2011, reflecting his career-long dedication to increasing understanding of science and environmental conservation: 11 years as the first president of the Biotechnology Institute, service as chief executive officer of the Maryland Science Center and president of the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, 14 years at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C., and advising the Obama Educate to Innovate initiative. Hanle earned a Ph.D. in the History of Science and Medicine and an M.S. in Physics from Yale.
