Join Mr. Shelley Klein 86, Fannie Maes Vice President of Loss Forecast and Allowance at the Fannie Mae offices as he discusses the past, present, and future of the housing finance market.

Mr. Klein graduated from Princeton in 1986 with an AB in Politics (and a certificate in Political Economy). After working in public finance at Smith Barney and in the New York Citys Mayors Office, he went to the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he received a Master of Public Policy, with a concentration in Housing and Urban Economic Development. He then spent 13 years in the consulting profession, with Pricewaterhouse, KPMG and BearingPoint, focusing on analysis and new program and product development related to credit products, particularly federal, state, local and international credit programs. He joined Fannie Mae in 2004 and currently leads a team of modelers, software engineers and analysts responsible for forecasting credit losses and house prices, setting the companys reserves and valuing the mortgages it has on its books.
