Netgear Information Session for Graduate Students

April 11, 2017 -
5:00pm to 6:30pm

NETGEAR Arlo is the leader in the smart home security camera market. With #1 market share in the US, Europe and Australia, and with millions of cameras deployed throughout the world, Arlo is way ahead of its competition and has become the standard for smart security in homes and small businesses. In addition to continuing to innovate in our award winning line of smart security cameras, the Arlo team is now creating many new smart solutions beyond cameras, all driven by our vision to create a worry-free home.

We, the NETGEAR/Arlo Smart Home team, are looking to grow our artificial intelligence and computer vision team in New York City, with our base in SoHo. Our team designs and develops algorithms to fulfill the needs and expectations of our home and small business customers. We review literature to find the right approaches, select and build models and software accordingly, and test and validate them using our massive ground truth infrastructure. We then directly deploy our work onto our Arlo Smart devices and cloud platform for delivery into millions of homes and small businesses.

If you are a computer vision, signal processing or machine learning engineering student graduating in 2017 or 2018 in undergraduate, master or PhD programs with an ambition to make an impact and if you want to be an essential part of the revolution that computer vision and machine learning are bringing to our homes, the Arlo Smart team is where you need to be. Come meet us and hear the amazing story of Arlo from NETGEAR's founder Patrick Lo and the Senior VP of Arlo Products, Pat Collins. You will also hear about our ambitions and challenges in artificial intelligence and computer vision from our visionary senior engineers.
