Princeton in Washington: Lawrence Friedl '88

Lawrence Friedl serves as the Director of the Applied Sciences Program within NASA’s Earth Science Division. Lawrence will present on “Making Space for Earth,” discussing the use of Earth observations to benefit society. Prior to joining NASA, Lawrence worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency. He also served as a Space Shuttle Flight Controller in NASA’s Mission Control Center for 15 missions, including several Earth science missions.
