Tour of the National Museum of the American Indian with Director Kevin Gover
Mr. Kevin Gover 78 H01 is the Director of the National Museum of the American Indian in DC. Come listen to Mr. Gover talk about his experience as director. This event will take place during the famous Choctaw Festival. For those of you who took American History: 1920s to 1974, this will be an interesting and relevant talk to attend!
Mr. Kevin Gover 78 H01 graduated from Princeton with a degree from the Woodrow Wilson School. He then went on to earn his law degree at the University of Mexico. In 2001, he received an honorary degree from Princeton. Prior to his current job, Gover was a professor teaching American Indian law at the Sandra Day OConnor College of Law at Arizona State University. Gover is part of the Pawnee tribe of Oklahoma. Before his professorship, Gover worked as the assistant secretary for Indian affairs at the Federal Interior Department, overseeing the Bureau of Indian Affairs. See http://nyti.ms/1qpxQgs.
