Event Description

Undercover Bosses is a casual recruiting event for graduate students in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and engineering. You must register in Handshake to attend.

Employers who are interested in hiring Ph.D. students will join the event to speak with Princeton graduate students.

The twist - employers will not identify themselves by their company name. They will identify themselves by the skills they may be looking for in prospective employees. Many great students shy away from certain companies as they do not feel they may be qualified when this is most often not the case.

This one-day virtual event will feature various employers looking for Ph.D. candidates with specific skill sets (e.g., research, writing skills).

Once you register for the event, you will receive a Zoom link to attend a virtual introduction panel session from 12-12:45 p.m. During this mandatory 45-min introduction session, you will:

  • Meet employer representatives for a brief introduction
  • Learn more about the event
  • Receive Zoom links and a timeline for each employer for one-on-one or group conversations, and you can decide which employers you'd like to speak with based on the skills they are looking for

Employer information with desired skill sets will be available soon.

You can upload your resume to an Undercover Bosses Resume Book by 11:59 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 16. All resumes will be shared with employers after the event for possible future contact.
