The Princeternship program

Ready to observe a prospective career field first-hand? Here's your chance. Since 2008, the Princeternship program has been offering students an inside look at careers by sending them out into the field to investigate career paths and foster personal connections with alumni and employers.

What to Expect

Princeternship. Kelly Funderburk with alumnus Dr. Parham Ganchi '87

There are three different Princeternship sessions throughout the academic year across multiple industries and fields.

Fall

This option is a one-day site visit to New York City on the Friday of fall recess. Undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to visit an organization, get an inside look at an industry and possible careers, and meet alumni and recruiters. Transportation will be provided.

Winter

This option can be either a one-day shadowing experience with an alum or two- to five-day shadowing with project experience. These give undergraduate students an opportunity get to know the career path of their alum host, learn more about an industry and potentially get tangible project experience. Opportunities span a range of geographic regions.

Spring

This option is a one-day site visit to New York City on the Friday of spring recess. Undergraduate and graduate students will have the opportunity to visit an organization, get an inside look at an industry and possible careers, and meet alumni and recruiters. Transportation will be provided.
